• MathVision is a television show and phone-in mathematics homework helpline for the students, teachers, and parents of the San Diego County school districts. The intended audience of the show is primarily 6th through 9th grade students, although anyone calling-in with a mathematics problem will receive assistance.
• MathVision has received the prestigious Golden Bell Award for excellence in educational programming.
• MathVision combines the benefits of one-on-one phone tutoring with the ability of  the televised portion of the show to provide modeling of effective mathematics instruction. The six toll-free tutoring phone-lines are staffed by certified mathematics teachers on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3pm to 6pm during the school year. Three additional mathematics teachers provide televised on-air instruction broadcast over local cable television channels from 4pm to 5pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
